The NIH has awarded a $20.3 million federal grant to the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, Oklahoma Medical Research Foundtion, and other institutions across the state of Oklahoma. This Oklahoma Shared Clinical and Translational Resources (OSCTR) grant will support important medical research and provide resources to rural areas that have typically been underserved. This five year grant supports an Institutional Development Award (IDeA) that builds research in states with historically low levels of NIH funding. The OSCTR will support basic, clinical and translational research , faculty development, and program infrastructure.
